Regulation

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) known recently as No Child Left Behind (NCLB) describes the regulations that apply to most of the federal funds that schools receive for academic programs and for parental involvement. The funds should be used to provide extra help to low achieving students to catch up and keep up with academic subjects such as English and math. The regulations require that parents are involved in planning for and deciding how the funds are spent.
